In a special ceremony, in Cairo, at the Ministry of Petroleum of Egypt an MOU was signed between EP Global Energy Ltd. and the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum. The MOU expressed the intention of both parties to proceed to a strategic partnership for developing renewable and conventional power projects starting with a pilot project in one of the Egyptian oil and gas fields.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Efthyvoulos Paraskevaides, Chairman and CEO of EP Global Energy Ltd., a Cyprus registered company, and by Mr. Shamel Hamdy (First Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum).

EP Global Energy Ltd. is also engaged in energy projects, currently at different stages of development and implementation, in the Gulf, the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

The Chairman of EP Global Energy Ltd. and his delegation had a meeting with the Minister of Petroleum Mr. Fahmy, who described the project with EP Global Energy Ltd. as a landmark renewable pilot energy venture.
